The basics.

By signing up for Pasture, you agree to these terms. They're written like a person talking to a person, not a contract. If something here doesn't sit right, email us and we'll talk.

What we provide.

Pasture is a software-as-a-service for farmers selling direct to customers. You get a storefront, a dashboard, payment processing via Stripe, optional SMS via Twilio, and the features listed on our pricing page. We try our best to keep it running 24/7, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. Cloudflare and Stripe occasionally have outages; when they do, your shop may be down too. We'll fix it as fast as we can.

What you pay.

$19/month USD, billed monthly via Stripe. First 30 days are free. You can cancel any time from the dashboard — no calls, no contracts. If your card fails, we'll email you. After 14 days of failed payments your shop goes into read-only mode but your data is preserved.

What we don't do.

We don't sell your data. We don't sell your customers' data. We don't share data with any party except the third parties needed to run the service (Stripe for payments, Twilio for SMS, Resend for email, Cloudflare for hosting, Anthropic for AI copy generation when you use that feature). We process customer data on your behalf as the farmer-operator of your shop.

What you can't do.

You can't use Pasture to sell illegal goods. You can't use Pasture to spam people who haven't opted in (US TCPA applies to all SMS). You can't reverse-engineer the platform to compete with us. If you do any of these we may suspend the account.

Your data, your customers.

The customer list, order history, and shop content you build on Pasture belongs to you. You can export it to CSV at any time from the dashboard. If you cancel, you have 90 days to export before we permanently delete.

If we mess up.

If Pasture loses your data due to our fault, we'll do whatever we reasonably can to recover it. We can't promise to make you whole on lost sales — software services don't generally insure against that — but we'll be straight with you about what happened.

Changes.

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make a material change we'll email you at the address you signed up with at least 14 days before it takes effect.
